What the Utah exam looks like
Utah’s exam is the longest in the country: no state asks more than 50 questions. You need 80% to pass, which means you can miss 10 questions and still get your permit. There is no time limit, so read every question twice.
The exam is given by the DLD (Utah Driver License Division). Its questions come from the official Utah driver’s handbook, which is also where every DMV Champ question is checked.
The same format is used in Florida, Michigan, New Jersey and Wisconsin.
