What the New Hampshire exam looks like
New Hampshire’s exam is one of the longer ones: only 7 jurisdictions ask more than 40 questions. You need 80% to pass, which means you can miss 8 questions and still get your permit. You have 40 minutes, one of only 8 jurisdictions that put a clock on the exam.
The exam is given by the DMV. Its questions come from the official New Hampshire driver’s handbook, which is also where every DMV Champ question is checked.
